The Wargrave and Henley Motorboat Show, organised jointly by three local boat companies, is set to become an annual event. More than 50 motorboats and other vessels were on display at Val Wyatt and Bushnells of Wargrave and at Hobbs of Henley at the weekend. Guy Girling of Val Wyatt said: "The event was very succesful and we plan to repeat it in future. Details have yet to be worked out but we plan another next year. "We timed it for the beginning of the boating season and were pleased to welcome people who had been thinking of buying a boat during the winter after attending the Southampton or London boat shows. "We were also blessed with the weather which showed the Thames at its best." Val Wyatt had all 25 boats in the Interboat range on display. Peter Herbert of Hobbs said there had been great interest in ther company's hire boat fleet which was on show for the three days. Val Wyatt Hobbs of Henley Bushnells |
