JUBILEE BOATS GATHER FOR THE BIG DAY
Dunkirk Little Ships gathered on the Thames at Teddington, only yards from where they were assembled for the 1940 evacuation, before setting off downstream for the pageant. There too other vessels from the upper Thames. On the tideway boats too large for the flotilla arrived for the Avenue of Sail.
