Cutty Sark, the world’s last remaining tea clipper,  is looking for volunteers to help bring the ship to life for its visitors.

Volunteers will help give visitors of all ages an insight to life aboard the ship, explaining how she operated as a working vessel, and answering visitors’ questions about the ship and her history.  They will have the opportunity to become immersed in the fascinating history of the ship.

Working as a volunteer on Cutty Sark will enable people to experience a busy heritage attraction.  They will not need to know everything about historic ships as full training will be provided, just need to be confident about meeting people and have a love of clipper.

Jessica Lewis, Cutty Sark Curator says: "This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy interacting with the public.  Cutty Sark is a special ship and our Volunteer Explainers improve the visitor experience, helping us bring her stories to life. We provide volunteers with full training - all they need to bring is passion and enthusiasm for this famous clipper.
